Thursday, 14 September 2006 marks the start of the seventh Mille Autunno (Autumn mille) sanctioned by the Amici americani della Mille Miglia.
The purpose of the Mille Autunno is to encourage the driving of old cars and to enjoy the camaraderie of all our great friends that own them.
The tour will start on the evening of 14 September at the Holebrooke Hotel in Grass Valley. The next day includes Lassen Park (a must in your lifetime) with an overnight stop in Redding. On Saturday we will pass through Eureka and wind up at the Benbow Inn in Garderville. The tour will end with lunch on Sunday at Rancho Nicasio, near San Rafael.
The tour is open to any and all sporting cars built before 1975. The fee for the tour is $1250 per car, and includes rooms, breakfasts, and dinners for two occupants per car, including dinner on Thursday evening and lunch on Sunday. It’s cheaper this year because we eliminated lunches (Fri & Sat), jackets, photos, etc.

This year the Autunno begins on Thursday afternoon, 14 September 2006 with the registration, followed by cocktails and dinner and ends with lunch on Sunday at Rancho Nicasio, near San Rafael.
Due to limited space the deadline for receiving entries is 1 August 2006, after that, entry will be on a space available basis only and requires the addition of a $200 late fee. Please note, if your co-driver requires a separate bedroom an additional $450 fee is required at the time of application for entry.
Hope to see you there, Martin Swig
